Easter Eggs

There is a diner on the streets in Episode 1 with a sign naming it "I Am the Eggman." This is the title of the theme song used for Dr. Robotnik in Sonic Adventures, and both are references to the song "I Am the Walrus" by the Beatles, which uses the line in its lyrics.
