Add cheats using a WeMod Trainer

Cheats

Civilization IV anthology has no cheats included as an official part of the game. However, cheats can be added manually using a Civilization IV anthology trainer, which can be installed on the WeMod Civilization 6 trainer page.

Listed below are 13 cheats provided by WeMod:

  1. Unlimited Gold
  2. Unlimited Faith
  3. Unlimited Envoy
  4. God Mode
  5. Unlimited Movement
  6. Unlimited Nuclear Weapons
  7. Population Minimum 10
  8. Unlimited Resources
  9. Fast Research
  10. Fast Recruiting
  11. Fast Construction
  12. Fast Project
  13. Fast Culture

It is advised that you read the reviews before installing the trainer as the cheats are unofficial and, therefore, may negatively affect your saved files, etc. WeMod is, however, supported by many WeMod Pro subscribers and is considered a safe way of providing cheats and making games more entertaining.

How to enable debugging

Cheats

A debug menu is built into the game. However, before one can use it, you need to do the following; go to the folder where the game is stored and find the AppOptions.txt file. Open it in a text editor, then scroll down to the entry that says “EnableDebugMenu0” and change it to “EnableDebugMenu1”.
You can then access the debug menu in the game by clicking the key with the ~ symbol. This will then provide a bar at the top of the screen where commands can be typed. Only two commands are known to which, and these are:

  • Reveal All – show the whole map
  • Explore All – setting the whole map as explore
