During the ending scene, holding down Circle temporarily makes Trico’s horns glow, confirming that it is the same Trico from the rest of the game. If you look carefully, you can also make out what seem to be a second set of eyes and then a third set of eyes on a baby Trico.

When you finish the game, you will unlock the Badge of Honor for Trico.

As you collect barrels and feed them to Trico, you will unlock several costumes for your next playthrough. There are 48 barrels.

• 12 Barrels – Enduring Attire
• 24 Barrels – Homecoming Costume
• 48 Barrels – Horned Apparel (Ico costume)
• 64 Barrels – Warriors Clothes (Shadow of the Colossus costume; only possible across two playthroughs)
• 96 Barrels – Fine Featherpainter (only possible across two playthroughs)

There are 48 barrels hidden through the game, and feeding them to Trico will let you unlock special items. Butterflies indicate a barrel is nearby. Use the video guide below to find all of the hidden barrels.
