Like any game, there has to be some sort of challenge involved. In Webbed the bower bird is yours. This massive bird loves to feed on insects and spiders. It will often swoop down and try to attack you and any other insect or spider around you. Don’t be alarmed though, you are a normal spider. 

To get rid of the Bower Bird you need to make use of your lasers. By pressing E you can shoot a laser at the bird which discourages it from attacking you. Alternatively, you can run and hide in a place that the bird can’t get to but you might be waiting there for a while.

In Webbed you can befriend a few other insects and creepy crawlies. Insects such as the moth, ants, dung beetles, and bees are all in the game and you can make friends with them. Making friends with these other insects will really help you in the game.

For example, when you first meet the moth it casually invites you into its home. From there you learn about where the ants, dung beetles, and bees are. Often making friends with these characters will require you to do a ton of tasks but in the long run, it is totally worth it.

Taking part in side quests isn’t essential in Webbed but it is loads of fun. One of the major side quests you can do is collecting larvae for the ants. Larvae are hidden all over the map and can at times be difficult to find.

Look everywhere in hidden cavities in an ant hill and around the map. When you find larvae you can bring them to the ants and they will reward you with a small achievement bag to say thank you.

Swinging with your spider can sometimes be pretty difficult. Unfortunately in Webbed, your spider's web can't just attach to anything like in the spiderman games. You can only attach to grass patches and other strands of the web. So while you are swinging keep an eye out for places to which you can attach the web. 

You can also make web attachments for yourself by spinning a web between two attachment areas. This is incredibly helpful if you are trying to climb through a tunnel with limited web attachments. Try to do this as often as possible.
