There was some confusion recently over whether or not Titanfall would have a season pass for its DLC, but now we’ve got the official answer for you: yes, it will.

Respawn’s Vince Zampella said Titanfall will have both free updates and paid DLC. The season pass is there so players can get a deal on future DLC content, as it will cost $24.99 and grant players access to three DLC packs, each of which will cost around $10 if bought individually.

If you are going to play Titanfall on the PC, you can pick up the Digital Deluxe version of the game from Origin for $79.99. It includes the season pass. All other gamers will have to wait until Titanfall launches to buy their season pass.

The DLC will not be cross-platform. For example, if you buy a DLC pack on the Xbox One, you won’t be able to access it on the Xbox 360, and vice versa.

Zampella could not confirm whether or not the Xbox 360 will receive all the same upgrades, patches, etc. as the PC and Xbox One versions, although he thinks it will.

As we mentioned when the question first came up, players are divided on whether or not season passes are a good thing. How do you feel? Weigh in on the debate in the comments below—but try not to argue too much.
