If you didn’t know the bizarre puzzle game called Stick it to the Man! was a PS4 title, we aren’t surprised, as it isn’t out yet. Stick it to the Man! was previously available on the PC, PS3, and Vita, but now it’s on its way to the PS4 (and the Wii U). It releases in Europe on April 30 and in North American on May 6, and subscribers of PlayStation Plus will be able to get it for free in May.
Stick it to the Man! involves psychic powers, a paper universe, and stickers. It’s rather hard to describe, so we recommend you watch the original launch trailer to get a feeling for the craziness that awaits you.
The full May PS+ lineup for North American players is:
And for European players:
If you haven’t checked out the April lineup yet, be sure to do so before the end of the month.

It’s that time again! With only a few days left in March, Sony has unveiled the new lineup of free games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in April. Members in the US will be able to pick up:
Meanwhile, members in the UK will see a largely different offering of games:
These both look like solid lineups. Of particular note is the PS4 game for both, Mercenary Kings. Mercenary Kings has already been released for the PC, but it won’t hit the PlayStation Store until April 1. Check out the trailer to see if this side-scrolling adventure interests you.
Don’t forget, PS+ members can keep these free games for as long as they remain subscribed to the service. What interests you from this month’s lineup?

March is almost here, and you know what that means: a new lineup of free games for members of PlayStation Plus, Sony’s subscription service.
During March, all PS+ subscribers will be able to pick up twin-stick zombie shooter Dead Nation for the PS4. This is the Apocalypse Edition, releasing for the PS4 on March 5, and it has full HD graphics, enhanced controls, and a brand-new broadcast feature for the PS4. You can play the campaign by yourself or with a co-op partner, and there are two additional modes with the new expansion, Arcade and Endless. There also is a new Challenge mode, so you and your friends can compete to get the highest level scores. To make things even more interesting, when you use broadcast mode, your viewers will be able to vote for good or bad things to occur in your game.
On the PS3, players in the US can get the Tomb Raider reboot, the puzzle platformer Thomas Was Alone, and the survival horror game Lone Survivor: Director’s Cut. Players in Europe can get Tomb Raider and the adventure game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
Finally, the PS Vita games for players in the US are third-person shooter Unit 13 and the monster-based action RPG Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, while players in Europe will get the tower defense game PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD, as well as the puzzle game Smart As.
Additionally, Thomas Was Alone and Lone Survivor are cross-buy titles, so if you pick them up for the PS3, you will also have them for the Vita.
This is a really strong list for PS+, with some heavy hitters like Dead Nation and Tomb Raider alongside lesser-known gems like Thomas Was Alone. Check out the trailer for Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition above and let us know if you’re planning to pick up any of these games.

If you have a PS4 and have never used Sony’s subscription service, PlayStation Plus, before, you can try it out for free with a 14-day trial. As the name suggests, a 14-day trial is meant to last 14 days. One anonymous user who began the trial, however, discovered that it was possible to extend his free subscription by 14 days, over and over again, without paying.
PS+ now recognizes him as a subscriber until the year 2035, and he has hundreds of emails confirming his numerous $0.00 “purchases” of 14-day subscription periods.
This user informed VG247.com about this glitch in this system, and he also provided screenshots to prove his story.
So far, Sony has declined to comment on the story.
We’d bet money Sony has either fixed this issue or is working on it now. What we’re really interested in finding out, however, is whether or not the user will be allowed to keep his free 21-year subscription. His honesty did bring it to Sony’s attention, after all.

If you live in the United States or Canada and will be picking up a new PS4 console in the next few months then you can also expect to receive some bonus goodies too.
Sony has just announced that every new Playstation 4 retail package will include the following:
The $10 credit for the Playstation Store is probably the nicest score in this deal as you can spend it on absolutely anything you want – games included. As well as that, if you don’t already have a PS+ subscription (and given that you don’t need to subscribe to play multiplayer on the PS3, we expect there will be a few of you) it’s a nice chance to sample Sony’s revamped online gaming offering and of course play some multiplayer PS4 games!

Sony looks set to reap billions of dollars by introducing Playstation Plus as a requirement in order to play games online with the PS4.
Research firm IHS Electronics and Media has run the numbers and says that Sony should generate $1.2 billion courtesy of the PS+ service in the year 2017 and at least one billion dollars each year thereafter (although presumably the figure will actually increase).
The numbers compare very favorably to current PS+ revenue stats. IHS estimates that Sony took in only $140 million thanks to the service in 2012. Although it should be noted that a valid Playstation Plus subscription is not required in order to play online with the PS3. This will only come in with the Playstation 4 – hence the higher projected numbers.
By way of comparison, IHS also says that Microsoft made $1.25 billion in 2012 thanks to the Xbox Live Gold subscription model – which requires you to pay in order to play online.
With all the benefits of Playstation Plus (free games!) we can’t see any reason why it won’t be adopted extremely widely with the PS4.

Hands up if you’re familiar with Playstation Plus, Sony’s answer to Xbox Live Gold? What it basically does is give you instant access to download 12 free games for the PS3 and six for the Playstation Vita (which you can store and play as long as you are a PS+ member). In addition new (free) downloadable games are added each month, which you can add to your collection, and you also get discounts of between 10%-75% off purchases made on the Playstation Store. In a change from the current-gen PS3 regime, you’ll also need a Playstation Plus subscription in order to play your PS4 online.
Sony has already said that PS+ memberships will be carrying across to the Playstation 4, but what can we expect in terms of free games? Sony definitely doesn’t want to be giving away half the launch lineup for free now does it!?
The answer is the following: you’ll get the games listed below instantly upon launch. As you can see a number of free-to-play titles are included, plus a few smaller games from indie developers. DriveClub: PS+ edition (a “full” retail game) will also be slightly restricted in that certain tracks and cars won’t be included (you’ll be able to purchase them separately though). Following the PS4’s launch, one retail game will also be downloadable for free, and storable in your game collection, each month.
Pretty impressive no?
