Need a new launch title? How about NBA 2K14

October 20, 2013 by Staff - Leave a comment

With Watch Dogs delayed for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4, and DriveClub just being delayed for the PS4 you might be in the market for a new launch title for your next generation console. Can we suggest NBA 2K14?

First off take a look at the trailer embedded below and then let us know if you need any extra motivation/encouragement to pick this title up. We’re pretty sure than even the most anti-sports/basketball gamer will be impressed with the level of detail. From the beads of sweat pouring off of LeBron James to the individual beard hairs on James Harden’s face, the visuals are pretty amazing!

EA, can we suggest you take some notes in respect of Madden…

Things are looking promising for sports fans on the next-generation of consoles with these two promo trailers for NBA 2K14 and Madden NFL 25 both being recently released.

We have to say that, after having viewed the vids, NBA 2K14 is looking particularly awesome (go 2K!) and while Madden looks great too, you get the feeling that EA Sports could be doing a little something more. Or maybe we’re just massive basketball fans…

Either way, make sure you check out both clips yourself and get a taste of what to expect when the PS4 and Xbox One touch down in November!

LeBron James and NBA 2K14’s Music

July 26, 2013 by Staff - Leave a comment

2K Games is working on the newest entry in its popular NBA 2K series, and the game’s cover athlete will also be responsible for picking its music. LeBron James, who has been named Most Valuable Player four times, picked 20 songs for NBA 2K14.

James is excited to be “the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack.”

Artists featured in the soundtrack include James’s friend Jay-Z, Phil Collins, Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, Eminem, John Legend, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and many others. It’s a good lineup for the soundtrack.

NBA 2K14 will come out on October 1.
