Last week was an interesting time for game bundle news. We told you about the Xbox One Titanfall bundle, which seemed a surefire way to boost the sales of the Xbox One, as it effectively discounted the console by including the game for free. A few days later, we told you about GameStop’s PlayStation 4 Infamous: Second Son bundle, which did not discount anything, but nevertheless became GameStop’s bestseller.
Well, it’s still there.
The Titanfall bundle held the top position on GameStop’s sales charts for a while, but the Infamous bundle took its place and has yet to budge. The Titanfall bundle, which we previously reported in the 23rd position, has since risen to 12th.
Interestingly, Titanfall itself is GameStop’s second bestselling product right now, with Infamous: Second Son in the 19th position, which suggests the first-person shooter is the more popular game—at least among players who have already upgraded to the next generation. We can’t be sure if Infamous is giving the PS4 a bigger boost than Titanfall is giving the Xbox One, or if the high popularity of the Infamous bundle has more to do with the scarcity of the PS4. After all, right now ordering the bundle is one of the few ways you can get ahold of Sony’s console.
Are you interested in one or both of these bundles? What are your thoughts on Infamous and Titanfall, and what do you think about this interesting sales phenomenon?Tags: bundles, gamestop, infamous, titanfall

Yesterday, we told you about the Xbox One’s price cut in the UK, as well as the new Titanfall bundle, which includes the digital download of the game at no additional cost. Well, now the deal is even sweeter.
At GameStop, the Xbox One Titanfall bundle will only cost £369.97, another significant drop. This puts it much closer to the price of the PS4, and the inclusion of Titanfall and a 1-month Xbox Live Gold membership makes it seem like a very appealing offer.
What do you think—is this the move that will turn the tables on Sony and put Microsoft in the lead? It certainly makes things look better for the Xbox One, which has not sold nearly as well as the PS4 in the UK. Then again, at this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if Sony countered with a new PS4 bundle to even the odds again. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know immediately if anything like that happens. For now, give us your predictions on how this will effect the sales gap.Tags: bundle, discount, gamestop, price, titanfall, xbox one

GameStop’s flyer for Black Friday has been leaked and we are happy to say that it contains both PS4 and Xbox One listings. We say “listings” because technically they aren’t special prices or deals… but it’s still next generation and interesting/cool nonetheless! You do get some special deals on Xbox Live and Playstation Plus subscriptions though.
The Xbox One can be found on page 2 of the flyer while the PS4 is one turn further back on page 4. It’s interesting to note that GameStop didn’t put the two consoles directly against one another (like on pages 2 versus 3 for example).
If you interested in current generation gaming deals then the rest of the flyer will likely be of interest. Since Cheats.co only covers next-gen we won’t go into much detail, but yes, there are some Wii U deals! You can view all the flyer scans below.black friday, flyer, gamestop

GameStop is currently holding its annual Expo in Las Vegas where it was just revealed that all General Managers will receive a Playstation 4 console each along with seven games.
Joystiq received confirmation directly from GameStop and also learned that the seven games included free will be Killzone: Shadowfall, NBA 2K14, Madden, FIFA 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Beyond: Two Souls. Each of the games is obviously a PS4 game except Beyond: Two Souls, which is a PS3 title.
This is a great piece of marketing by Sony and will hopefully help sell more Playstation 4s (provided the GMs have a good experience with the console). It also matches an identical move made by Microsoft – GameStop GMs are getting free Xbox One consoles as well!Tags: console, free, gamestop, GM, manager, ps4

Consider yourself very lucky if you happen to be the General Manager of a GameStop store at the moment, because it has just been revealed that as part of the GameStop manager conference happening in Las Vegas next week, all GMs will be getting a free Xbox One console.
— Cora Miller (@Cora_Elizabeth_) August 26, 2013
The news broke courtesy of the Tweet embedded above, and tech site NeoWin has also confirmed it directly with GameStop. A spokesperson responded that yes it is true, all General Managers of GameStop’s 6,500 retail stores will receive a free Xbox One – and this is regardless of whether they actually attend the conference next week!
No word yet on what games will also be given to the GMs, but I imagine it will be several. After all, as just announced by Sony, they will also be giving GameStop GM’s a Playstation 4 each with seven games! Hmmm, this wouldn’t be an attempt to try and gain some favoritism would it?Tags: conference, expo, free, gamestop, GM, xbox one

The Playstation 4 standard launch bundle has sold out at GameStop – this being after the games retailer specifically said Sony had given them the go ahead to “open the floodgates” and take “unlimited” pre-orders for the PS4. Hmmm…
While the sell-out is definitely a testament to the popularity of the PS4, there was never going to be unlimited availability at one specific retailer. Let’s be honest here. The console features some pretty incredible technology that will undoubtedly bring with it manufacturing complications. In addition, with Sony wanting to get the console out into gamer’s hands sooner rather than later (and in particular sooner than the Xbox One hits store shelves), there was never going to be a lot of time for them to manufacture “unlimited” quantities.
It is interesting to note that various PS4 packages, where the console comes bundled with a game, are still available to pre-order at GameStop. So if you haven’t got in already, they could be worth checking out. Of course there is the numerous other retailers that are still selling PS4 pre-orders. Amazon is probably your best bet and Walmart pre-orders are still available too.
