Respawn to Stop Titanfall Cheats

March 17, 2014 by Samantha Lienhard - Leave a comment

titanfall

It comes as little surprise that some Titanfall players have cheated or hacked the game in order to gain unfair advantages. So far, no steps have been taken to stop them, which understandably has users upset. However, Respawn’s Jon Shiring has assured everyone that the cheaters will be stopped soon.

He later clarified that they are already catching the cheaters, just not enforcing the anti-cheat measures yet.

Xbox One players have also had trouble with the faulty VOIP communication in Titanfall, and Shiring said Respawn and Microsoft are working together to fix the problem.

We hope these issues are worked out soon, especially the cheat issues. Titanfall has the potential to be an excellent game, and it would be a shame if a few unscrupulous players ruin it for everyone else.

Official Call of Duty Ghosts online code of conduct

December 9, 2013 by Cheats.co Staff - Leave a comment

cod-ghosts-wallpaper

Cheats.co is of course a website that focuses on providing you with cheats, codes, hints, tricks, glitches and more for next generation consoles (being the Wii U, Xbox One and Playstation 4). That said, we know (and believe ourselves) that when it comes to cheating in multiplayer games, that’s just not cool. As a result you will never find any content on Cheats.co that enables you to gain an unfair advantage against any other human players (like online glitches etc).

The developers of Call of Duty: Ghosts obviously feel the same way and have taken it upon themselves to post the following Call of Duty Ghosts online code of conduct. It sets out exactly what sort of infractions/actions might lead to you getting punished or penalized, and then what sort of punishment you can expect.

Check it out and make sure you stay on the right side of the law!

Definitions

  • Temporary Ban – A ban that can range from 48 hours to 2 weeks, depending on the severity of the infraction.
  • Permanent Ban – Bans that are lasting and final.
  • Minor Offense – An offense in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another user or the game community at large.
  • Extreme Offense – An offense in which a player has caused detriment to other users or has organized large groups of users to commit additional offenses.

Modding / Hacking – Any user who runs a modified version of game code or uses a modified game profile is subject to penalty.

  • First Offense: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
  • Console users who modify their hardware or profile data will also be reported to console manufacturers.
  • PC users on Steam will be reported to the Steam enforcement team.

Pirated Content – Any user who illegally acquires Call of Duty: Ghosts content is subject to penalty.

  • First Offense: User will be permanently banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.
  • Console users in possession of illegally acquired content will also be reported to console manufacturers.
  • PC users on Steam will be reported to the Steam enforcement team.

Boosting – Any user who colludes with another user to exploit the game for the purpose of gaining XP, prestige, game score, weapon level, or in-game unlock is subject to penalty.

  • First Offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Multiple Offenses: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards, and will lose the ability to use prestige token/unlocks.

Glitching – Any user who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty. An example includes but is not limited to using a hole in the map geo to intentionally go outside of the map boundary.

  • First Offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
  • Multiple Offenses: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.

Offensive Behavior – Any user who is found to use aggressive, offensive, derogatory or racially charged language is subject to penalty.

  • First Offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online.
  • Multiple Offenses: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in leaderboards.

Predicting cheats, codes and more for Xbox One games

November 17, 2013 by Cheats.co Staff - Leave a comment

We are just five days away from the release of the Xbox One, Microsoft’s next-gen gaming console, this Friday. That means it’s time to take a look at some of the device’s upcoming games and speculate on what sorts of Xbox One cheats we will be dealing with in the future.

bf4-screenshot

For some of the system’s launch titles, potential “cheat theories” are easy to come by. Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts are two games that have released for current-gen consoles already—BF4 on October 29 and Call of Duty on November 5. Both are new entries in popular first-person shooter franchises and have the sorts of cheats and unlockables one would expect. Players who dive into Battlefield 4 can perform certain tasks and achieve specified goals in the game to unlock new weapons, and hunt down collectible dog tags for Achievements/Trophies. While playing Call of Duty: Ghosts on the other hand, gamers can complete tasks to unlock new modes and search for the hidden Rorke Files. The Xbox One versions of these two games will likely feature the same sorts of unlockables and cheats.

However, there are several Xbox One launch titles that will not be released until the console hits store shelves. Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, and Ryse: Son of Rome are three of the Xbox One’s exclusive launch titles. There is a good chance that players who fight zombies in Dead Rising 3 will be on the lookout for cheat codes and strategies to unlock and craft new weapons, as well as hints on how to get new unlockable costumes. Killer Instinct has sparked much talk, as it is the first addition to the old fighting game series since 1996. Unlockable costumes are a common feature of fighting games, so it is likely they’ll make an appearance here. In addition to the combo-based combat system common to fighting games, Killer Instinct has some new elements to implement, which should make their way into strategy and hint guides. Meanwhile, Ryse: Son of Rome is an action-adventure game with Kinect capabilities. As a new IP, it is the hardest to predict cheats for. It is possible that there will be unlockable costumes/equipment/weapons and perhaps cheat codes related to the player character’s combat moves. Invincibility cheats are another possibility for this sort of game.

Amidst talk of all of these launch titles, Watch Dogs is still mentioned with excitement. Watch Dogs is a highly anticipated current and next-gen title that was meant to launch just a few days prior to the release of the Xbox One, but has since been delayed until an unknown point in 2014. With action-adventure gameplay and stealth elements in an open world setting, as well as a focus on the hacking techniques of the player character, one can imagine an instant-hack cheat code or unlockable weapons.

Speculation is one thing, but we are quickly approaching the time when it will be replaced by facts. The Xbox One and its games are almost here, and gamers who are interested in these titles should sit down and decide whether or not Microsoft’s next-gen system is right for them.

Potential PS4 cheats & codes – what could the next generation bring?

November 13, 2013 by Cheats.co Staff - Leave a comment

The official launch of the PlayStation 4, Sony’s next-gen gaming console, is now upon us with many reporting that their pre-ordered console has already shipped. When the PS4 is officially released on November 15 a large library of launch titles and future games will accompany it. In the little time remaining, Cheats.co will try to predict the kinds of PlayStation 4 cheats the future will bring.

dcuo-ps4

Call of Duty: Ghosts is already available as a current-gen title, and the PS4 version will be very similar to the one already out (upgraded 1080p visuals aside). This first-person shooter does not have many cheats discovered so far, but it does have new gameplay modes that players can unlock through their actions, as well as hidden files to collect for a Trophy. Trophy strategies and similar cheats will be the most likely things we see for this PS4 title. Another current-gen title making the jump to the eighth generation of consoles is DC Universe Online. This comics-based MMORPG has Trophy guides and hints to help players deal more damage, though its online nature means more cheats could appear as time goes on. FIFA 14 is a third game we can speculate about with a good degree of accuracy. Although it has already appeared on numerous systems, this sports game will launch on the PS4 with a new game engine. Based on the current version, FIFA 14 cheats will likely pertain to Trophies and Trophy strategies.

fifa-14-xbox-one

Minecraft is in the interesting position of being a current-gen game announced for next-gen systems that is not going to be a launch title. Although the PS4 version was supposed to release alongside the console, it has been delayed. Nevertheless, this sandbox game is so popular that it’s easy to predict that its cheats will look a lot like those for the versions already out—unlockables, Trophy guides, and strategies to take advantages of glitches for cool effects like invisibility and item duplication. As a fairly similar experience across the platforms it has appeared on, it should hold few surprises.

killzone-shadow-fall

However, these next two games won’t be fully understood until the PS4 releases, as they are both exclusive launch titles. Killzone: Shadow Fall has caused much excitement amongst series fans and newcomers alike. As a first-person shooter based on a special forces group known as the Shadow Marshals, any cheat codes for the game will probably unlock new weapons, give the player boosted health or even invincibility, or unlock scenes and areas from the game. Other likely possibilities include bonus costumes and humorous character effects. While Shadow Fall looks at the dark side of things, another one of the PS4’s big launch titles is a family-friendly action game called Knack. As a new IP, there is little to compare Knack to, but its gameplay suggests we could see cheat codes that would unlock Knack’s various abilities or grant him invincibility. There will likely be strategies on how to easily get through each level.

knack-2

Whether they are interested in Knack, Killzone, or one of the many other PlayStation 4 titles, players who follow speculation about Sony’s next-gen console should get ready for its imminent release and decide if they want to pick one up or pass.

Rumor: Playstation 4 release date October 21

August 13, 2013 by Cheats.co Staff - Leave a comment

console-top-controller

Take this with a grain of salt, but a verified poster over NeoGAF has said that an un-named new console from Sony will be released on October 21 this year. Could it be the Playstation 4?

NeoGAF is well known for attracting leaked information via posters that are usually either verified as legitimate or not, and in this case the poster has in fact been verified as working for a large games retailer.

Basically he had the following to say:

Rumor: Our internal product release schedule from head office dropped yesterday and on Oct 21st an unnamed Sony console will be launched. Fyi all console revisions like the ps360 slims and Wii Mini were listed as ps360 & wii mini. Previously the wiiu, 3ds and vita were also only listed as Nintendo/Sony Console in the product name column.

While October 21 would be nice (and a major surprise) I wouldn’t put any money on this being correct. But it’s still nice to dream…

PS4 Cheats will of course keep you updated on any PS4 release date news. The sooner the PS4 is released, the sooner we can deliver all the cheats, codes and everything else you need!

Remembering our favorite Playstation cheats

July 7, 2013 by Cheats.co Staff - 1 Comment

While waiting patiently for the PS4 to be released nearer the end of this year (along with all the cheats and codes… which will be right here for you) we thought it would be nice to look back at previous Playstation systems and remember some of our favorite cheats. So here’s our list of memorable cheats for the PSX, PS2 and PS3.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (PS2)

gtasa

Games like GTA were made to have cheats used, once you’ve clocked it without cheats of course… It’s just so much fun! Listing one specific favorite cheat for this game is too difficult – there was so many of them! Some of the goodies though, in no particular order:

  • Infinite Health: Down, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Down, Up, Triangle.
  • Infinite Ammo: L1, R1, Square, R1, Left, R2, R1, Left, Square, Down, L1(2).
  • Health, Armor and Cash: R1, R2, L1, X, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up.
  • Weapons #1: R1, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up.
  • Weapons #2: R1, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down(2), Left.
  • Weapons #3: R1, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down(3).

Doom (PSX)

doom

No cheats list can be complete without mention of DOOM. Personally speaking, these were the very first cheat codes I ever used, albeit on a PC. For cheat-code users, DOOM along with its multitude of handy cheats, is legendary.

  • Full Guns and Ammo: X, Triangle, L1, Up, Down, R2, Left, Left
  • Full Map: Triangle, Triangle, L2, R2, L2, R2, R1, Square
  • God Mode: Down, L2, Square, R1, Right, L1, Left, Circle
  • Level Warp: Right, Left, R2, R1, Triangle, L1, Circle, X

And don’t forget the direct level passwords (too many to list).

Mortal Kombat (PSX)

mortal-kombat

The Khameleon cheat defines what we think cheats should be. Well, at least in the old days and particularly in terms of fighting games. Who wants to unlock a character when you can enter a code and have arrive in the form of your current character exploding? Awesome!

Play as Khameleon: Choose to play as either Reptile, Sub Zero, Rain, Human Smoke, Ermac, Noob Saibot or Scorpion. Assuming you are player one, hold Left + R1 + R2 + Square + Triangle until the match begins. Your character will explode and change into Khameleon, a translucent ninja with an ability to transform into any other ninja.

Guitar Hero (PS2)

guitar-hero

The Guitar Hero series of games went out of flavor, massively, a while back – but it still had some cool cheats. None of which was better than the “Unlock All” cheat. This gave you access to the game’s entire song library from the get-go. Pretty handy if you were more of a music lover as opposed to a master guitarist.

  • Unlock All (NTSC): Yellow, Orange, Blue, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Yellow
  • Unlock All (PAL): Yellow, Orange, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Blue, Yellow

Turok: Evolution (PS2)

turok-evolution

The available cheats for Turok: Evolution on the PS2 represented pretty much what you’d want in a shooter: invincibility, unlock all weapons, unlock all levels and unlimited ammo. Seriously, what more do you need? It even had its own “cheats menu”.

  • Invincibility: emerpus
  • Invisibility: sllewgh
  • Unlock All Weapons: texas
  • Unlock Everything: FMNFB
  • Unlimited Ammo: madman
  • Unlock All Levels: sellout

NBA Jam (PS3)

nba-jam

NBA Jam eventually made its way to the Playstation 3 and we’re pleased to say, so did its familiar cheats system. Not only could you enter codes at the title screen, but using specific initials would also grant you various teams and playable characters. Some of our favorites below…

  • Beastie Boys Team (title screen): Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, X.
  • Democrats Team (title screen): Left(13), X.
  • NBA Mascots (initials): MAS (player one), COT (player two).
  • Team Jordan (initials): JOR (player one), DAN (player two).
