Rumored Trial for Call of Duty DLC

The newest DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts is called Onslaught. It brings with it four new multiplayer maps, Fog, Containment, Bayview, and Ignition. It also has a new Extinction mode episode, called Nightfall, and a new weapon. If you’re interested, you might be able to try out Onslaught before you buy it.

According to information posted on Pastebin, a free trial of Onslaught will become available on March 21. This supposed leak also points to a demo coming for Ghosts’ multiplayer. The demo would include three maps, Team Deathmatch and Domination, and a sample of Extinction mode. The information also referenced an upcoming sale on the digital version of Ghosts.

Activision hasn’t commented on the rumor yet, but if it’s true, this is excellent news. Demos are always a great way for players to test out a game before they decide to buy it or not, and a DLC trial is a very interesting idea.
