Yes, you read the headline right. If you’ve been wondering how big the environments in Destiny will be, Bungie Senior Software Engineer Christian Diefenbach said each planet/moon is about the size of Halo: Reach.
In the same interview, which was with a Brazilian site, Diefenbach explained how rather than having a single hero like the Master Chief, Destiny makes the player the hero. There will be numerous customization options in place to help you personalize and identify with your Guardian.
However, you’ll still be able to quickly recognize the character class of other players, something important for competitive matches.
We can’t wait to learn more about how customizable character appearances are, and the size of the game is pretty impressive. Halo: Reach wasn’t the longest game ever, but it was by no means small. If each planet is that size, it sounds as though we’ll have plenty of content and places to explore.Tags: destiny, info, ps4, xbox one
