Amazon UK not guaranteeing launch day PS4 delivery

If you live in the United Kingdom and want a Playstation 4 on launch day, don’t order from Amazon.co.uk.

According to a message on the internet retailer’s website, any orders placed for a PS4 after August 6 *may* be shipped after the eventual release date of the console.

Please note–due to high demand, orders placed for this PlayStation 4 console from August 6 may be received after release date. We will ship orders as soon as we receive sufficient inventory.

In this case we’re gonna take the word “may” and substitute definitely, and if you don’t you’d have to be pretty ballsy, particularly with the way the Playstation 4 has been pre-selling. Currys, PC World and Tesco have also stated similar things.

Bottom line: if you want a Playstation 4 in the UK on release day, order today!
