From Software’s New Game is Bloodborne

Bloodborne

For weeks leading up to E3, rumors circulated about a game with a working title of “Project Beast,” being developed by From Software. Leaked images hinted to the validity of the rumors, and fans speculated that it might be a Dark Souls 3 or a Demon’s Souls 2. It was finally revealed last night at Sony’s E3 press conference, however, as Bloodborne.

Looks very dark. We can’t wait to see what Bloodborne is like when it comes out in 2015 for the PS4.

Interestingly, while Bloodborne is a new IP, it is a spiritual successor to Shadow Tower Abyss, a From Software title released only in Japan in 2003. In that case, it should contain some mechanics similar to those seen in Demon’s Souls. It is an action RPG and will have a faster, more offensive (rather than defensive) combat than that seen in Dark Souls. According to Sony, it will have “online features,” but we don’t know what they will be yet.

Are you looking forward to the dark, atmospheric world of Bloodborne?
