PS4 Has Already Outsold Wii U

According to VGChartz, as of February 22 the PlayStation 4 had sold approximately 5,847,194 units worldwide, while the Wii U had sold approximately 5,765,484 units worldwide. That means that in the three months (and a week) since the PS4’s release, it has already outsold the Wii U, which has been on the market for an additional year.

Now, it’s no secret that the Wii U’s sales haven’t exactly been stellar, but this still speaks volumes about the success of the PS4. It keeps selling out in stores around the world, and its recent Japanese launch was hugely successful.
