Project Spark Open Beta Begins

Two weeks ago, we told you about the upcoming beta for Project Spark on the Xbox One. Well, the open beta has started today, and you don’t need a key to enter it. All you need to do is download it.

Best of all, you no longer need to use “Spark Time” to access any content. Everything is free. (If you already bought Spark Time, however, you’ll be repaid. Community manager Mike Lescault said, “Anyone who acquired 30 days of Spark Power within the last 30 days, will continue to get the 200% bonus for XP and credit, but we will be granting them 24,000 credits.”)

Project Spark is definitely one of the more intriguing concepts we’ve heard about, and something that should promote a lot of creativity amongst fans. Give it a try and share your thoughts in the comments below!
