Reception of the Xbox One has been mostly positive, but the new version of Xbox Live has not been as well-received as its predecessor. Fans consider it to be less user-friendly, with certain features hidden or located in unexpected areas. Microsoft’s Marc Whitten has assured everyone, however, that they have plans to update it in the near future.

According to Whitten, Microsoft will “go through a big list of what we’re hearing from customers, what we know is broken with the architecture, areas that we want to improve or complete.” Among other issues with the current version, he mentioned the social aspects of Live, such as joining a game party.

He gave no definitive date for when this update will be released, but indicated that it would be soon.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is also planning to allow players to broadcast gameplay to Twitch, but it seems this is still several months away.
