The Batman rumors can finally quiet down somewhat—we know what Rocksteady’s new game is. It is not the rumored Batman: Hush, although Hush himself could still play a role in it. It will be called Batman: Arkham Knight, and it will release sometime this year.
This morning, a sales listing for Arkham Knight was discovered on the site of the British retailer GAME. A few hours later, GameInformer confirmed it as their next cover story and revealed more details about the game.
Arkham Knight is planned to be Rocksteady’s last Arkham game, and for the first time, the Batmobile will be a core part of gameplay. So far, the confirmed villains include Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Penguin. If you preorder the game, you will get four bonus challenge maps, be able to play as Harley Quinn, and more.
