The Arkham games have always had strong atmospheres, and Rocksteady is taking great care to ensure Batman: Arkham Knight has the right atmosphere, as well. According to Dax Ginn, one of the producers, “it’s always raining, [and] it’s always night time.” That could sound monotonous to some, but we’re confident Rocksteady will use it to give Gotham City a dark, eerie feeling.
A lot of work is going into the design of Gotham City, from the weather, to the sound of the echoes, to changing the architecture while making sure everything still looks like part of a single city. Everything will be extremely detailed. Ginn also mentioned that the power of the Xbox One and PS4 is what will allow Arkham Knight to have both “scale and detail.”
We also learned that voice actor Troy Baker will be in Arkham Knight as Two-Face.

It’s great to know he’ll be in another Arkham game, and we’re sorry we missed his birthday. Happy Belated Birthday, Troy Baker!
